Why Manchester sightings need aviation context
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport sits in one of the most heavily observed parts of New Hampshire. Aircraft arriving from different directions often appear to hang motionless in the sky when viewed head-on. The geography of the region contributes to the confusion. Sightings from Manchester, Londonderry, Hooksett, Bedford and Nashua often occur beneath or near flight corridors serving Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. For UFO reporting, drones create a double problem.

Was the object near a known flight path?

Drones can hover, reverse direction and remain visible at low altitude. They can also carry unusually bright lighting systems.
However, drones have practical limitations. Reports describing very long distances, extreme speeds or extended endurance often become less convincing once those limitations are considered.
